data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Im November 2015 erkannte die Generalkonferenz der UNESCO-Mitgliedstaaten die\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.unesco.org\/new\/en\/natural-sciences\/environment\/earth-sciences\/unesco-global-geoparks\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Globalen Geoparks<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0einstimmig als die dritte offizielle Kategorie anerkannter Schutzgebiete der Organisation an (nach den Welterbest\u00e4tten und den Biosph\u00e4renreservaten) im Rahmen des\u00a0<strong>nternationalen Programms f\u00fcr Geowissenschaften und Geoparks (IGGP)<\/strong>\u00a0(<strong>International Geoparks and Geoscience Program)<\/strong>Alle damaligen europ\u00e4ischen und weltweiten Geoparks wurden in das Programm aufgenommen und offiziell als\u00a0<strong>UNESCO Global Geoparks (UGGp) anerkannt.<\/strong>.<br \/>Damit eine Region heute als UNESCO Global Geopark anerkannt wird, muss sie geologische St\u00e4tten von internationaler Bedeutung umfassen, best\u00e4tigt durch die Internationale Union der Geowissenschaften (IUGS), \u00fcber eine starke und wirksame Verwaltungsstruktur verf\u00fcgen, eine bedeutende Sichtbarkeit nachweisen, mindestens ein Jahr lang vollumf\u00e4nglich als Globaler Geopark funktionieren sowie aktiv mit relevanten Institutionen, Organisationen und anderen Geoparks kooperieren und sich vernetzen.<br \/>Die grundlegenden Betriebsregeln und Merkmale sind in Beschl\u00fcssen und einschl\u00e4gigen
