Environmental Education Centre of Anogeia (K.P.E.)
The Environmental Education Centre of Anogeia has been operating since 2006 and is under the Ministry of Education.
Natural History Museum
The Natural History Museum of Crete – University of Crete serves as the scientific advisor of the Psiloritis Geopark.
Skinakas Observatory
The Skinakas Observatory is a joint research facility of the University of Crete and the Foundation for Research and Technology – Hellas.
Palaeontological Museum of Rethymno (Mastaba Mosque)
The Mastaba Mosque, with its unique architecture of nine domes, continuous cells, the "Hegoumenio" and its garden, hosts the Palaeontological Museum of Rethymno.
